I’m Danea Mae Ching and I am currently living in the Philippines. I took up a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management. As of now, I am currently unemployed and I’ve been working as a claim processing associate for more than five years in my previous company Accenture Inc. In my previous job in a health care insurance project, I’ve been handling claims, medical records, and enrollment of eligibility in an insurance company that is based in the US for the member. My responsibility is to maintain and managed data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures. Moreover, I do have experience in being an Adjuster of the claim being responsible for administering claims payments, maintaining claim records, and providing counsel to claimants regarding coverage amount and benefit interpretation. Monitors and controls backlog and workflow of claims. Ensures that claims are settled in a timely fashion in accordance with cost control standards. In addition, I was once an internal Quality auditor that conduct a root cause analysis, perform audits, and made monthly reports for recommendations for improvements and monitoring the project SLA (service level agreement) that sets the expectations between the service provider and the customer and describes the services to be delivered and the metrics by which the effectiveness of the process is monitored and approved. I’m known for being a detail-oriented, well-organized team player. I never miss deadlines; I’m a good communicator and I can juggle multiple tasks at once. My supervisor always notes that he/she appreciates my professionalism and enthusiasm for the job in my performance reviews. With this experience under my belt, I’m looking for an opportunity to take the next step in my career. I’m hoping to do so in an organization like yours that works to improve the environment, which is something I’m passionate about. I am confident that I am a good fit for this position for several reasons, but most specifically because of my dedication to going above and beyond in a job. I am committed to learning any new skills on my own to succeed in this role. Moreover, I am highly organized and detail-oriented, which is exactly what this role requires. I also have experience working with large amounts of data, so I know I can manage the volume of data/products that comes through this department. This means I can work well with others on the team.
